Chamber of Commerce and Common Core

Have you wondered why the Chamber of Commerce is promoting Common Core?  Upon doing a little research you can easily figure out why.  One of their major affiliates received grant money from the Gates Foundation in the name of supporting Common Core.

So, now when you hear that the Chamber of Commerce supports Common Core, you can just remember they received $4,670,877 from Gates.  In my mind that does away with any impartiality.

While we’re at it, let’s just go through a short list of organizations who have received large grants from the Gates Foundation:

• Fordham
• Parent Teacher Administration
• Chamber of Commerce
• CCSSO
• NGA

Just keep these $$$’s in mind the next time you hear any of these groups speak in support of Common Core.  You don’t bite the hand that feeds you and Gates loves Common Core.
