Correction

I don’t usually Common Core on Sunday.  I take that day of rest thing very seriously.  However something has come up that I felt was very important to correct.

Wednesday at the Statehouse I made an error and I wanted to correct the information as quickly as possible.

Meridian School District is not eliminating their gifted math track.  It is being shuffled around and moved back a bit though.  I received my original information from a parent and failed to excercise proper diligence by veryifying this information personally.  (Thank you Bill Roberts from the Statesman for pointing this out to me.)  Schools in the area are however having their teachers read the book Detracking For Excellence and Equality.
